Noida International University
NIU Greater Noida University, established in 2010, is a recognized institution by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It is ranked 81 out of 160 in the Overall Category in the IIRF Rankings 2024. The university maintains a favorable student-to-faculty ratio and runs a successful mentor-mentee program across its four schools: the School of Engineering and Technology, the School of Management, the School of Economics and Commerce, and the School of Law. NIU has signed international Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with institutions such as the Abu Ali ibn Sini Bukhara State Medical Institute in Uzbekistan, Aimst University in Malaysia, the BRICS International Forum, the Bureau of Cultural Heritage of Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture, and the Centre College of Business & Technology in Canada, among others. The university provides a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses including PhD, MBA, BTech, BBA, BCom (Hons), LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), and many more. It offers PhD and MPhil degrees in 11 specializations, with an annual intake of over 800 students. Among these, BTech and MBA are the most sought-after programs. Admission to NIU is conducted online and is based on performance in the qualifying examination for technical courses, while for non-technical courses, selection is done through Group Discussion or Personal Interview.
NIU Greater Noida University also houses a 650+ bedded hospital and the Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences (NIIMS), a Centre of Excellence dedicated to innovative medical education. According to the latest placement data, the university offers a median salary package of INR 3.5 LPA for MBA graduates and INR 1 LPA for BSc students. The 75-acre campus supports full-time, co-educational learning and accepts entrance exams such as CLAT/LSAT, JEE-Main, CAT, and GATE.
